Coeur d'Alene-Spokane River Basin Adjudication (CSRBA)
March 6-8, 2018:
In connection with mailing the Preliminary Recommendations for Basin 95: Part 1, public meetings were held in Coeur d'Alene to give claimants the opportunity to discuss their recommendations with IDWR staff.
March 30, 2018:
The deadline to submit Notice of Error (NOE) replies in connection with the Preliminary Recommendations was March 30, 2018. NOE replies received after March 30, 2018 will continue to be accepted. However, there is no guarantee that IDWR staff can address the requested changes prior to the Director's Report being submitted to the court.
April 2, 2018:
IDWR staff is in the process of reviewing NOE replies submitted in connection with the Basin 95: Part 1 Preliminary Recommendations. Once complete, IDWR staff will prepare the Director's Report for Basin 95: Part 1 and will submit it to the court.

On November 12, 2008, the district court ordered the commencement of the Coeur d'Alene-Spokane River Basin Adjudication (CSRBA). The commencement order made the United States, the Tribes, the State, local governments, as well as private property owners parties to the adjudication of all water rights in the Coeur d'Alene-Spokane Rivers water system which includes the sole source supply of the Spokane Valley Rathdrum Prairie Aquifer. Commencement notices were sent to property owners informing each of the need to file claims for water rights.
