Members of the Idaho Technical Working Group, in cooperation with various federal, state and local agencies have checked the 4th, 5th, and 6th field watershed lines for compliance with federal standards and refining the lines from 1:100,000 scale to 1:24,000 scale where necessary. The remaining required fields in the attribute tables are being populated, and the dataset will be sent out for a final review from all interested participants soon.  Units that have been draft approved are subject to changes or updates pending additional review by cooperators.

For a complete listing of current WBD units, certification status, or to submit Montana comments, please contact either Duane Lund or Catherine Love, or visit the Montana Watershed Review site at http://nris.state.mt.us/nsdi/watershed/6threview.html

The Regional EcoSystem Office in Portland, Oregon (REO), has assumed regional stewardship of watershed delineations in Western and Central Oregon, portions of California, Western Washington, and Nevada.  For more information regarding the REO delineation effort in these states, contact Ken Adee or  Dan Wickwire, or visit the REO review portal at  http://hydro.reo.gov/hu.html .

The hydrologic units in common with Wyoming have been through the initial review and will be sent for certification consideration soon.  The initial review included refining the lines to match 1:24,000 scale data, and attributing 5th and 6th fields to comply with the federal standards.

Here is a current status map showing Idaho linework and attributes in progress.  Please contact Genna Ashley-Poulson for any information regarding specific hydrologic units in Idaho.
