Linda Davis stated that Karen Hanson from USGS has sent Utahs
Watershed lines out for certification. Linda
Davis stated that Karen Hanson said all Idaho linework will be incorporated into
the Utah Watersheds and changes will be made if necessary.
IDWR will contact Karen Hanson for the final dataset that was sent for
certification.
Erv Cowley stated that BLM priority for watershed review is Big Wood (17040219
and Salmon Falls (17040213). The Salmon Falls huc will need to be coordinated with Nevada.
Also, BLM has money to spend for delineation work.
They are coordinating with Karen Hanson, Utah USGS to extract the

HUC REVIEW
Huc 17060202 Pahsimeroi
This huc was reviewed by the group. There
is a composite 6th field that will probably end up larger than the
40,000-acre limit, so Betsy will write a justification for this area.
She will also look at Tater Creek 6th field and decide whether
to add it to the large composite and make it larger or keep it as a small 6th
and write another justification. Work is in progress for naming and numbering this huc.
Betsy made some notes and will continue to work on the delineations and
bring this huc back for a continuing review.
Huc 17040217 Little Lost
This huc was reviewed by the group. There
are several small acreage areas that were identified and grouped with other
areas. There was much discussion
regarding the non-contributing hydrological area at the southern portion of this
sub basin boundary that appears to flow to the south and east.
It has been determined that this is a closed basin.
After much discussion the group determined that this huc boundary should
be left as is with a justification written to avoid future confusion if this
issue should ever come up again. Betsy
will continue to work on this huc and bring it back for another review.
Huc 17060206 Lower Middle Fork Salmon
River This huc is in progress by
the Salmon-Challis NF. It was not
reviewed during this meeting; the Big Lost (17040218) huc was substituted
instead. This huc will be reviewed
at a later date.
Huc 17040218 Big Lost
This huc was reviewed by the group. There
was discussion regarding the Rock Creek area and where to group this 7,500-acre
small area. Betsy will write a
justification for the Navarre Creek 6th, with 9949 acres.
Betsy will continue to work on this huc and bring it back for another
review.
Huc 17050111 North and Middle Forks Boise
River the group reviewed this huc. T.J. Clifford and Valdon Hancock went over various name
changes for this huc. In
addition, the Queens River 6th and tributary Little Queens River 6th will be
moved from the 5th field huc 1705011105 (Upper Middle Fork Boise River) and will
be included with 1705011106, to be named, Middle Fork Boise River-Queens River.
T.J. will make these minor changes and bring this huc back for a final
review.
Huc 17050120 South Fork Payette River.
The group reviewed this huc. The
confluence will be changed at the Dam area between the 5th fields.
Some 6th fields still need to be added.
T.J. Clifford will make these minor changes and bring this huc back for a
final review.
Huc 17050121 Middle Fork Payette
River the group reviewed this huc.
Continuing work will be done on 24k linework, and attributing this huc.
All acreages were within the specified ranges for 5th and 6th
fields. The draft concept lines
were approved by the group.
Huc 17060208 South Fork Salmon
River.
The group reviewed this huc. Continuing
work will be done on 24k linework and attributing this huc.
All acreages were within the specified ranges for 5th and 6th
fields. The group approved the
draft concept lines.
Huc 17060210 Little Salmon
This huc was reviewed by the group. There
was one very small name change Goose Creek will be renamed Upper Goose
Creek. Continuing work will be done
on 24k linework and attributing this huc. All

fields. The group approved the
draft concept lines.

- Steve Garcia, USGS has completed the delineations for this huc. He left paper
copy maps for review and will send Genna Ashley export files for this sub basin
to be incorporated into the master watershed coverage.

linework across state boundaries.
