TO REPORT
Huc
17040218 Big Lost -
Betsy Rieffenberger incorporated changes that were suggested the last time we
looked at this huc. Elbow Canyon
and Dry Fork Creek 6th field hucs were created.
This hydrologic unit can be considered Draft Approved.
Huc 17060205 Upper Middle Fork Salmon
Cape
horn moved the line back to the Custer County/Boise County line
Lumped Sulfur Creek to make it fit size criteria
Fixed Knapp Creek
Fixed ridge on Fir Creek - Bear Valley
Made some name changes
Draft
Approved.
Huc 17060204 Lemhi
- Fixed Upper and Lower Texas Creek.
Draft-Approved.
Huc 17040211
Goose Creek
- Extensive
changes are proposed for the 4th field boundary on this hydrologic
unit. The northern boundary has been extended to the Snake River to follow
historic Goose Creek drainage. Big
Cottonwood Creek drainage is planned for inclusion with the downstream Big
Cottonwood Creek drainage tributary to Lake Murtaugh in HUC 17040212. This fourth field line should be sent to USGS, NRCS and DEQ
for comment. Some preliminary sixth
field line placements were also reviewed and suggestions made.
Check
the region attributes on Cottonwood Creek.
The ‘little huc’ named Cottonwood Creek should be part of the
composite.
Check names/labels in the Weiser River Rush Creek fifth.
Linework is preliminary.
Fifths are in size range. One
sixth (9976 acres) needs a justification written or should be combined with
another hydrologic unit.
In the Weiser River - Keithly Creek fifth, the ‘Lower Little Weiser’ sixth
has the wrong label.
The boundary between the Crane Creek Reservoir and South Fork Crane Creek should
go to legacy channel.
Monroe Creek had incorrect name.
Huc 17050108 Jordan
Check
names on Boulder Creek.
Jordan Creek - Trout Creek - rename
Need to rectify southern huc boundary with adjoining hydrologic unit.
Huc 17050102 Bruneau
Check the Three
Creek and Clover Creek fifth boundary.
Check the line that crosses between the Upper Buck Flat and Upper Clover Creek
watershed boundaries.
Huc 17050103 Middle Snake Succor
Quick
review of changes that were proposed in the last Middle Snake Succor meeting.
MISCELLANEOUS
DISCUSSION
Erv Cowley would like to be on the July schedule for the
Middle Snake Succor, Jordan and possibly the Bruneau huc.
ACTION
ITEMS:
IDWR will send the 4th field linework for huc 17040211
(Goose Creek) to NRCS, USGS, and
DEQ for review.
IDWR will review the 4th field boundary on the Lower Boise huc.
