Stream Gages

IDWR maintains a series of gages in the Upper Salmon River Basin. These gages are used to monitor flows in the streams and rivers where water is being leased, and to collect hydrologic data. Some are maintained through a contract with Idaho Power (in purple). To download raw data for these gages, visit the Idaho Power website. Permanent and temporary USGS gaging stations in the basin are also used in monitoring efforts. Several gages are maintained by IDWR staff.
