Tips for Successful Searches:

  • Text searches tend to be faster than map searches.
  • Use two factors (such as last name and source). More slows the search.
  • Maps work best with a fast connection.
  • Searches work best during the off-peak early morning and late afternoon.
  • Allow some time for the search to take place.

Printing Internet Search Screens:
     (IDWR AJ/WR/WC)

Here's how to set up Internet Explorer to print off Internet searches (works for AJ/WR/WC searches) so the columns do not get truncated on the right side of the paper:

  • On the menu bar of IE select View | Text Size | Smallest
  • On the menu bar of IE select File | Page Setup, click Landscape for the orientation and set left and right margins to .181 and click OK
  • On the menu bar of IE select File | Print and then Print or click on the printer icon on the tool bar
