Statutory Claims

You can file a statutory claim to record a beneficial use of water established before the mandatory permit requirement dates:

Mar 25 1963 - Ground Water

May 20 1971 - Surface Water

Mar 25 1963 - Claims to ground water for domestic purposes as defined in Section 42-111 Idaho Code, are acceptable regardless of the date the use was established.
