Management Advisory Committee

There a several different committees in the organizational structure of the project. The Management Advisory Committee is composed of officials from the three cooperating agencies. Their role is to guide the study for the long-term, effective water management of the Spokane Valley-Rathdrum Prairie aquifer.



Technical Advisory Committee

The Technical Advisory Committee is composed of technical subject-matter experts (e.g., hydrogeologists, hydrologists, modelers) who have direct experience working in the Spokane Valley or Rathdrum Prairie aquifer or surface water drainages. This committee provides technical expertise when specific technical issues arise.



Policy Advisory Committee

Involved stakeholders interested in lending support to the project participate on the Policy Advisory Committee. This committee is designed to deal with non-technical issues related to water management, water use, and policy decisions.
